SMS secures full end-to-end MHHS qualification across Data and Metering Services

Summary

SMS has successfully achieved qualification across both Data and Metering Services, securing Metering Service Smart (MSS), Metering Service Advanced (MSA), Advanced Data Service (ADS), and Smart Data Service (SDS). This makes SMS one of the first providers to hold full end-to-end capability under Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS), spanning metering, operations, data validation, and settlement.

Together, these back-to-back qualifications confirm SMS’s readiness to deliver stability, resilience, and clarity as MHHS goes live – enabling customers to depend on a single trusted provider for the full range of services.

Delivering readiness and resilience for MHHS

SMS is proud to announce that it has now achieved MHHS qualification across both Metering and Data Services – securing:

Metering Service Smart (MSS)
Metering Service Advanced (MSA)
Advanced Data Service (ADS)
Smart Data Service (SDS)

Together, these roles create a complete end-to-end service offering. By combining metering and asset operations with advanced data validation and settlement processes, SMS is positioned to provide the integrated infrastructure required for MHHS.
